We use these regularly for a large camping trip. We put a lot of tension on them for about 2-3 weeks a year and store them for the rest. Generally, they last for 2-3 years, sometimes less if we have them under constant strain during those weeks. This can happen. We end up ordering about 500-1000 each year for replacement.
