Foot Pad Fittings
Secure your canopies or canopy carports with heavy-duty steel foot pads and cement insert fittings from Canopies and Tarps. Or, choose our specialty hybrid T-fitting or L-fitting foot pads as side support braces for chain link fencing.
Our galvanized steel canopy footpads with steel eye bolts have three pre-drilled plate holes that can be anchored with tent stakes for temporary uses, or anchored permanently when bolted to wood, concrete or other hard surfaces.
Choose 3/4-in. footpads, 1-in. footpads, 1 3/8-in. diameter canopy tent foot pads, 1 5/8-in peaked canopy footpads or 1 7/8 in. canopy carport footpads. The sizes refer to the inside diameter. Simply insert the canopy leg, and tighten the eye bolt to stabilize the leg (pole).
Our galvanized steel cement insert fittings with eye bolts are designed for use with thin-wall aluminum or steel conduit called EMT, for electrical metallic tubing. Cement insert fittings are centered inside a cinder block, which is then filled with cement to create an anchor weight for canopies. Secure the conduit by tightening the eye bolt.
Our sizes for cement insert canopy fittings refer to the diameter of the conduit (tube) that is accepted, and include 3/4 in., 1 in., 1 3/8 in. and 1 5/8 in. sizes.
For example, the 3/4-in. size cement insert fitting has an inside diameter of 15/16 in. to accept the 3/4-in. diameter tubing. The 1-in. cement insert tubing has an inside diameter of 1 1/4 in. to allow insertion of 1-in. tubing. The eye bolt is twisted to tighten it to 1 in.
Our hybrid foot pad fittings can be used as foot pads or side support braces. These galvanized steel T-shaped or L-shaped fittings can be incorporated with chain link fencing posts as side support braces.
They are designed using the same specs used for chain link fencing posts. Each includes an eye bolt and three pre-drilled plate holes for mounting. Each is available in 1 5/8-in. or 1 7/8 in. sizes.
