Works great, used it to make the canopy poles of my wall tent smaller and it’s holding together just fine!
Tip: When securing tarps and covers, use elastic ball ties or bungee cords. Avoid rigid fasteners such as wire, rope, or zip ties, which can cause grommet damage or tearing in windy conditions or under excessive pull force.
