With reinforced grommets installed every 2', you'll be able to reduce condensation and reduce wind damage, ultimately prolonging the life of your equipment. Our brown 20' x 30' canvas tarp not only works hard, it looks good, too. We've taken great care with the details on this tarp. Double-stitched hems, double-stitched seams and triple-thick hems all but eliminate fraying and wear where it occurs most often.

Please note that this 20' x 30' canvas tarp in brown is not recommended for use as car or boat covers. This is due to the manufacturing process, which utilizes colored dye and waterproofing wax that may rub off and stain any painted surface that the fabric comes into contact with.

In addition, our brown canvas tarps should not be used as trailer tarps: canvas tarp material is not strong enough to withstand the pulling force from wind generated while in transit. It is not recommended to use this 20' x 30' canvas tarp for applications that require excessive pulling on the fabric's grommets. Canvas tarps do not have the high tensile strength needed for excessive pull force. As mentioned, our 20' x 30' brown canvas tarps are water-resistant, not waterproof. This means that the heavy-duty duck 100% cotton material has a saturation point and will eventually leak through if it comes into constant or prolonged contact with water, rain or other precipitation. Please take this into account when determining whether or not canvas tarps are right for your purposes. Note that this 100% duck cotton material will shrink over time. The amount of actual shrinkage is dependent on environmental conditions like weather, humidity and un exposure.

Because our canvas tarps are treated with water-repellent agents made from petroleum byproducts, this may result in a temporarily strong odor. Due to this fact, it is not recommended to use our canvas tarps indoors. This odor will eventually dissipate as the material is exposed to outside air.
