Canopies and Tarps features a 20-by-24 brown heavy duty canvas tarp made form 100 percent single-filled military cotton duct fabric that is 10 ounces per square yard. The tarp is water resistant and features double-stitched, triple-thick hems and seams. It is strong, breathable and is resistant to mildew. The tarp also reduces condensation and wind. The craftsmanship features grommets spaced every two feet for added security.
We do not recommend canvas tarps as covers for vehicles, boats or RVs. A canvas top is made using colored dye and waterproofing wax that can rub off or stain painted surfaces. They also should not be used to cover a trailer in tow. The material is not strong enough to withstand the force of the wind created during transport.
Canvas tarps are suggested for outdoor use. They are treated with water-repelling chemicals that emit an order. However, the order will decrease with time. It also is important to note that canvas tarps are water resistant, but not waterproof. The material can become saturated and will eventually leak if left exposed to rain or other water.
Because it's made form 100 percent cotton materials, the tarp also is subject to shrinkage. This can depend on the environment in which the tarp is used. Canopies and Tarps offers the best prices and widest selection of canvas tarps, RV covers, canopies and much more. We purchase in bulk and keep a large stock and pass the savings along to you.
