Secure your peaked canopy roof with 78-degree angle sloped canopy fittings from Canopies and Tarps. These one-piece galvanized steel 78-degree angled fittings have eyebolts that fit to center or side canopy poles.

We have 3/4-in. (inner diameter) four-way center fittings welded at each connection with a right-side slope down (FP4M) angle. If you need a three-way 1-in. inner diameter sloped canopy fitting (FP3JSL) that will ensure good drainage of rainwater, consider our FP3JSL sloped canopy fitting.

Why Proper Fitting Placement Matters

Using the correct fitting at each connection point:

  • Prevents frame twisting or sagging
  • Improves load distribution
  • Extends canopy lifespan
  • Ensures compatibility with tarps and covers

Our 78-degree angled peaked roof canopy fittings include three-way peak corner (FP3J) fittings, 3/4-in. five-way slope down center fittings and 1-in. four-way left side angled slope down (FP4H) fittings. Also find 1-in. angled five-way center angled-down fittings. Inner diameter sizes on our angled 78-degree fittings range upward to 1 5/8 in.

In search of other sizes? We carry 102-degree angle slope down fittings ready to ship from our warehouse.

Our slope roof canopy frame kit includes three two-piece sloped corner fittings, along with 18-gauge steel pipes (poles), brace supports and other set-up hardware. These frame kits do not include the top covers.

Common Applications

  • Shade canopies for patios, backyards, and garden work areas
  • Worksite sun screens and light-duty equipment protection
  • Temporary event cover frames and pop-up style structures
  • DIY pipe-frame structures for storage, staging, and seasonal cover

These fittings are designed to accommodate standard EMT conduit and chain link fence post tubing.

Important: Always measure the outside diameter of your pipe before ordering. The inside diameter of the fitting is slightly larger to accommodate the correlating tubing size.

Refer to our fitting guide chart to ensure a secure and proper fit.

If you prefer to order a canopy and downward angled fittings without the frame kit, shop our line of canopy box kits, which include canopies and galvanized steel sloped fittings. These kits do not include frames and installation hardware.

At Canopies and Tarps, we offer individual canopy accessories, as well as kits, that will allow you to buy just what you need to replace canopy parts or create a DIY canopy structure. Learn more about our variety of canopy accessories.
